Start stable. Save what works for you.
Each model has one AI Scenario Default. Load it, adjust only the controls shown for that model, then save combinations that work well in your stories.
Using presets
Load Default
Open Settings → Parameters and start with the model's built-in Default.
Adjust carefully
Change one visible sampling control at a time and compare it using the same character, scene and user message.
Save the result
Choose Save as Preset when you find a combination worth keeping for that model.
What Default means
Model-specific
Each model can use different starting values because the same parameter may affect models differently.
Always recoverable
Default cannot be renamed, overwritten or deleted. Reset to Model Default restores it at any time.
Visible sampling controls
Temperature
Lower values usually make generation steadier and more literal. Higher values increase variation but can weaken instruction-following.
Top P
Limits generation to a probability range of likely token choices. Adjust Temperature first unless the model's guidance says otherwise.
Model-specific controls
Only controls supported by the selected route should appear. Unsupported values are not silently added to a preset.
Response length stays separate
Short, Medium and Long in Chat Settings remain the only response-length controls.
Personal presets
Personal presets belong to the model they were created for. They are never copied blindly to another model.
Save as Preset
Stores the current visible sampling values under a name you choose.
Manage Presets
Apply, update, duplicate, rename, delete, set a personal default, import or export.
